How upsetting. But of course, who's really surprised? If New York won't allow marriage between couples of the same sex, then of course why on Earth would NJ allow it, right?
What a mess.
I don't think I'll ever marry - but not only because I can't. To be honest, I don't see myself attached to anyone for forever. But still. This issue matters to me because there are tons of people out there voting against what I should be allowed to do if I wanted to. I mean, there's no harm in marriage, right? No one dies from it, really. The act doesn't mean I'll have to sacrifice a bloody straighty. (Although, quite frankly, it should.)
Why can't those who want to marry get to?
Homosexuality taints the sanctity of marriage? No way! The straights have tainted it for many, many years now.
